Biography

I am currently working as Chanakya Postdoctoral Fellow at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India. Before that I worked as Data Scientist-II at DCG Data-Core Systems (India), Kolkata for six months. I received my Ph.D from Machine Intelligence Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India on January, 2023. I spent two years as a Junior Research Fellow and four years as Senior Research Fellow Machine Intelligence Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India. My research interests include feature engineering (selection/extraction), pattern classification, deep generative models and its application on high volume data (e.g. bioinformatic data such as single cell data).
